What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box similar to a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The data recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee report can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined position.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved photo and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel in different sizes.
So you always have the right photo for
the CRM system, LinkedIn, XING, WhatsApp & Co, Twitter, Outlook
etc. within easy reach.
Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the picture.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to load his original image and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Other possible uses

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
