The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way will later become a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee report.

After the employee's picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds that you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.

How did the staff get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory does not only get the new photos, the sales representative has three different ways of receiving his picture as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
