What should be achieved?
The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to take a photo of your personal employee and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your staff the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently cut to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in some dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, comparable to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photo of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also detected, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are directly on the picture.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, the sales representative has three different ways to get his picture as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN into which the sales representative must dial.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the sales representative can load his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the various target systems.
