The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the option to always identify 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will stand in front of the photo box similar to a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can automatically be replaced with one or various background settings you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, employees can choose between three different ways of receiving their photo as a file.

At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
