What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the optimal format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be set up.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can automatically be exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the image is used to compare the photographed image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in parallel to some extent.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, there are three different ways for staff to get their picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy down their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's inbox.
Other possible uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The need for investment

1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
