The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently optimized to the optimal format, detached from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be set up so that the data can simply be read in from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the photo of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the background settings you have specified. In the same way, the head is determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several formats at the same time.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, the employee can choose between three different ways to get his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobox provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is then sent to the employee's email inbox.
