The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display, just like with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a sharing option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the employee get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive their image as a file.

Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
