The mission goal

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, just like with the passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording.

After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in several dimensions at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately included in the image.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems.

Other possible uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for €650 + €1/employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
