What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the chance to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be set up so that the data can be read in immediately from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can automatically be replaced with one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the captured image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in various dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee will appear on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, employees can choose between three different ways to receive their photo as a file.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original image as well as the various versions for the different target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
