What should be achieved?
The staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in different sizes and aspect ratios if desired.
One possible solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen in different dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will also appear on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN to which the staff has to dial.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Additional deployment options
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
