The mission goal

The staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently optimized to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read out immediately from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also detected, scaled to a specified size and placed at a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place synchronously in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee will be directly visible on the picture.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can enjoy the new images, there are three different ways for staff to get their image as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download the original photo and the different formats for the different target systems.
