The mission goal
The staff in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional on-site personnel are not required.
This gives your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.
So you always have the best possible photo for

etc. within easy reach.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the company logo and/or the designation and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their photo as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the workforce must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the workforce can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Alternative deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a Photo Box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is already worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
Customer ratings
