The mission goal

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo booth in a similar way to the photo booth and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel in different sizes.
So you always have the best possible photo for
the CRM system, Facebook, WhatsApp & Co, Instagram, Outlook, LinkedIn, XING
etc. are available.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their image as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo will be sent immediately to the employee's email address.

Additional uses

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Employee photos (as described above)

• Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a tour of the company

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over directly.
