What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo booth, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the required actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the picture can automatically be exchanged for one or more of the background settings you specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately shown on the picture.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this route only takes place in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.

Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
