What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the option to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves completely with their personal employee photo at any time.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a sharing option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various background settings you have specified. In the same way, the head is found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the photographed photo and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various forms.
So you always have the best possible photo for
Facebook, WhatsApp & Co, XING, Outlook, Twitter
etc. at hand.
Logically, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee will appear on the picture.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, the staff can choose between three different ways to get their image as a file.
- Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
Alternative uses
In order to take full advantage of the purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
