The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on the spot.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, just like with a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.

How does the employee get his photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos digitally.

The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different versions for the various target systems.
