The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically adapted to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in some dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the background settings you have specified. In the same way, the head is found for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.

How does the staff get their photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
