The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized for the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The employee data collected in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a predetermined size and placed in a predetermined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image can be output in many formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” by means of a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

   The captured photo is then sent to the employee's email address.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can load his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording as well as the various formats for the various target systems.

Alternative deployment options

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
