The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the right format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company's logo and/or the employee's name and position can appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
Other possible uses

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the option to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought immediately.
