The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, just like with the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is simply read from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image can be output in many sizes at the same time.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox.
Additional uses
In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
