The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the option to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photobox that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can automatically be replaced with one or many background settings you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data set via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in different formats at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for employees to get their image digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.
