The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You can place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personnel number, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

How do the staff get their picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not get the new images, the sales representative can choose between three different ways of receiving his image as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to download his or her original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken will be sent immediately to the employee's email address. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
