What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional employees on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in many shapes and aspect ratios if desired.
The solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the human resources department, at the ID office or at reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, just like with a passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen at the same time in various sizes.
So you always have the right photo for
the CRM system, Outlook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, XING
etc. within easy reach.
Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the designation and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the option to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for €650 + €1/employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
