The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or personnel department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the required actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can easily be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or various background settings you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined point.
The photo is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photo taken and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to get their photo digitally.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
