The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You can position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo booth, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
