The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your employees the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
Image output can happen in multiple formats at the same time.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.

The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
