What should be achieved?

The staff in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and saved in a number of formats and aspect ratios if desired.

One possible solution

You can place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the connection.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture digitally as well.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this route is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was implemented in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
