The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or in the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently cut to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several sizes.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to receive their photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox.

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
