What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically cut to the best format, irritating elements are removed from the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You position a photobox that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with the passport photo machine.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a sharing option for internal/external use of the image.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.

etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” using the company logo and/or the designation and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that it is not just the CRM system or the Active Directory that gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the different sizes for the different target systems.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's e-mail inbox.

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is purchased directly.
