What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.

A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is then immediately sent to the employee's e-mail address.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the different versions for the various target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can load his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost of buying a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over directly.
