The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on the spot.
You give your workforce the chance to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, just like with the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read in from the business card. The information recorded in this way is then subsequently a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, the field service employee has three different ways to get his picture as a file.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the field service employee can use to load his original recording and the various formats for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
