The mission goal

The employees in your company have the chance to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on the spot.
This gives your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several shapes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the required actions on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Employee ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way are then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data set. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place simultaneously in many dimensions.
So you always have the best possible photo for

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory come into possession of the new recordings, three different ways are available for the employees to receive their picture digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can save his or her pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original recording and the different versions for the various target systems.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is kept directly.
