The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company get the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff on site are not required.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
