The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely at any time with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos can be cut to the appropriate format by machine, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor, similar to the photo booth.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way is then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.

How does the employee get his photo?

So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to also receive their photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the different formats for the different target systems.
2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the staff must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
