The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You can position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can happen in several forms at the same time.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to receive their picture as a file.

In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased directly.
