The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way are then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more of the background settings you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be visible on the picture.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, the employee can choose between three different ways to receive his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.
