The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, as with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place at the same time in various dimensions.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their photo as a file.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the workforce can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
