The use of a photo box for employee photos

The workforce in your company has the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves completely with their personal employee photo at any time.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimum format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The information collected in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data set via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in many sizes.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new pictures, there are three different ways for the workforce to receive their picture as a file.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the staff can use to copy down their original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can upload their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo booth.
