The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo booth, just like with a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image can be output in different formats at the same time.
So you always have the perfect photo for
the CRM system, WhatsApp & Co, LinkedIn, Outlook, XING, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook
etc. at hand.
Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways of receiving their photos digitally.

The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can copy their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the company staff can use to copy their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
