The mission goal
The staff in your company have the option of photographing their own employee photo and/or updating it at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with a passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also identified for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the picture taken and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download their original image and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is kept immediately.
