The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
Crucially, this is accomplished through a self-service process, eliminating the need for extra on-site human resources.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth like in a photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee report can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in parallel in different sizes.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, the employee has three different ways of getting his photo digitally.

Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
Further deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
