What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently optimized to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth in a similar way to a photo booth and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information, e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed portrait with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place simultaneously to some extent.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately included in the picture.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent straight to the employee's email inbox.
Other possible uses
In order to get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
