The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, analogous to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with logos and/or the designation and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the image.

How did the staff get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to get his picture digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this route is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The price for the purchase of a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 or more employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for €650 + €1/employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.

Customer ratings
