The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You can place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the required actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or different backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his picture digitally.

The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download his original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems.

Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased directly.
