The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required data such as e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in several forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can appear on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
