What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, similar to a passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, family name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a check box for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen in various dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for

etc. lying ready.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" using company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to receive their picture as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Alternative uses
In order to take full advantage of the purchase, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased directly.
