The mission goal

The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the photo of the employee has been photographed, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or more of the backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the recorded portrait and the internal employee data set via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place synchronously in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new photos, the sales representative has three different ways to get his picture digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the sales representative can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the sales representative can use to load his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo will be sent directly to the employee's inbox.

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photo booth optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
