What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or rotating location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can simply be read from the business card. The information collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
Image output can be in many formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be directly on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.

Alternative uses

To get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

The price for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept immediately.
