The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or bring up to date their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the image.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several forms at the same time.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for staff to receive their photos digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
