The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in certain formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can easily be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can automatically be replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place synchronously in many formats.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their picture digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to load his or her original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which employees can load their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought immediately.
